Spelling Bee competition is designed for Kindergarten and Primary Level of students who are studying English at GRAND MOUNT INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL in both full-time and part-time classes.
A spelling bee is a competition in which contestants are asked to spell a broad selection of words, usually with a varying degree of difficulty. To compete, contestants must memorize the spellings of words as written in dictionaries, and recite them accordingly.
Objectives
• Build confidence in Spelling
• Ability to spell words correctly
• Help to promote literacy by providing children with a positive goal to work toward
• Enrich vocabularies
• Enhance their ability in writing and pronouncing English words
• Give them a forum to display the fruits of their hard work
